Give the author surname and page number with no comma: (Chen 42). If the author is named in the sentence, only the page number appears in parentheses.
Works Cited
MLA 9 uses a container system: Author. "Title of Source." Title of Container, Other contributors, Version, Number, Publisher, Publication date, Location.
Formatting
Double spacing, legible 12pt font, 1-inch margins, a header with your surname and page number, and a four-line block on page one with your name, instructor, course and date.
